Pepsi Scene

“Pepsi Scene” is a small but cinematic moment from L’Anse au Loup, Labrador—painted from a photo I took around 2010, back when I worked as a young reporter along the coast. There’s a quiet magic to northern evenings, and this piece holds onto that feeling: the cool blue sky settling in, the hum of power lines overhead, a single yellow-lit window glowing in the dusk, and a lone Pepsi machine standing like a landmark of small-town life.
