Donate to your community food bank

The COVID-19 pandemic has hit Torontonians hard, with 30 percent of reporting households struggling to afford everyday necessities, such as food and rent. People of colour are affected disproportionately in these statistics.

What can we, as good neighbours, do? Community food banks are one step in a road to building a kinder future for those affected by food insecurity. We found one on a nightly stroll at 29 Boulton Ave, just east of Queen and Broadview. This week, we left trail mix and a few feminine hygiene products.

You can find more information below about what to leave at community food banks in your neighborhood.
